  1. I think it’s a wonderful idea! Especially for during the holidays (and next summer), when some people, like myself are away from Melbourne, and down on the Surf Coast. Not sure of a venue, as I’m down Aireys way, so I’m not *that* familiar with Torquay.
Another idea could be a roving venue up and down the coast? Torquay one month, then Anglsea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne the following months. It may help increase numbers if people know they won’t always be having to drive as far as Torquay or Geelong? Again, it may also help to ‘commit’ people from various parts of the coast and boost numbers. Just a thought…
I’d also be happy to lend a hand when I’m around, so keep me in mind 🙂

  2. That’s awesome.
I live at Aireys and enjoy the various sceptical podcasts. I’ll definitely come along to meetings anywhere between Geelong and Lorne!

  3. I also spend a lot of time in Aireys having lived there for 8 years. Now back in. Melbourne. Would be great to be able to visit Great Ocean Road Skeptics. I have just joined Vic Skeptics and looking forward to the Pub meetings in Carlton. Joan
