This health condition has been included because little or no scientific evidence exists that shows chiropractic techniques alone can effectively treat the condition. However, when on-line advertising by Australian businesses promoting chiropractic treatment is consulted, a number of those businesses (although generally a minority of the total) suggest that they can effectively treat this health condition. Good quality evidence for or against the efficacy of chiropractic treatment can be found via rigorously conducted, placebo controlled, blinded, clinical trials.
