This quote by author and fellow Victorian Skeptic, Lynne Kelly appears to resonate well with skeptics around the world. It appears on many internet sites, other than here of course. The quote appeared in her book The Skeptic’s Guide to the Paranormal at the end of the introduction. My thanks to Lynne; she’s given us permission to reproduce it here.
Click on the image above to see it full size on your computer screen – it’s well worth it.
Lynne will be speaking at the upcoming convention, just one week away now.
So that people can find the quote with Google, here it is in text form.
“Some believers accuse skeptics of having nothing left but a dull, cold scientific world. I am left with only art, music, literature, theatre, the magnificence of nature, mathematics, the human spirit, sex, the cosmos, friendship, history, science, imagination, dreams, oceans, mountains, love and the wonder of birth. That’ll do me.”
– Lynne Kelly
Lynne will be one of the feature Presenters at the National Convention in Melbourne December 1st and 2nd.Not to be missed.
